昨天在同事那顺手拿起一本书，随手翻到一页看到一篇标题没留意但是大概内容是说：“一个人不小心跌入悬崖，抓住半空中伸出来的树干（都是这个桥段），左看右看上看下看发现峭壁光凸凸，没有任何借力的地方，是不能上去了。这时，路过一个高僧，对他说：‘放’。”再下面就是议论文字了，大意是：”既然确定永远都上不去了，何不找点放手，因为迟早都要掉下去的。掉下去有两种可能，一个是摔得粉身碎骨，一个是绝处逢生。”意思是既然知道要经过的过程，何不早点决定，不要做墙头草，与其等死，不如选定一个方向一拼到底。

我觉得故事本身的说教意义太牵强了，但是牵强引申出来对生活的态度还是有一定的意义。说来说去，就是要做人做事要主动，不要让其他事情强加于自己身上。换一种叙述方式确实能吸引目光，就像一个木水桶的板有长有短后，按一定角度摆放就能装最大的容积的水一样。
